Monsignor Janelli Choir

The Monsignor Janelli Choir at St. Catheine's Church in Dinuba was founded and named after Monsignor Anthony Janelli. The choir consists of 16 full-time members, mostly married couples, and several more part-time members. The Janelli Choir leads worship music every Sunday morning at the 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Catherine's. Rehearsals are typically held on Wednesday evening periodically throughout the year, according to the Liturgical season.

The Monsignor Janelli Choir invites all who have a heart for God to join in worship and celebration of the Holy Eucharist at the 9:30 a.m. Sunday Mass. If the Spirit calls you to join in this ministry, please email stcatherinesmusic@yahoo.com for more information. No music experience is necessary to join, nor do you need to be able to sing. The only prerequisites are a love for God, a desire for Jesus in the Eucharist, and the need to bring celebation to the Holy Mass. All else will be provided for you.

God Bless.

Psalm 149
Hallelujah!
Sing to the Lord a new song,
a hymn in the assembly of the faithful.
Let Israel be glad in their maker,
the people of Zion rejoice in their king.
Let them praise his name in festive dance,
make music with tambourine and lyre.
For the Lord takes delight in his people,
     honors the poor with victory.
Let the faithful rejoice in their glory,
cry out for joy at their banquet.
With the praise of God in their mouths,
and a two-edged sword in their hands,
To bring retribution on the nations,
     punishment on the peoples,
To bind their kings with chains,
     shackle their nobles with irons,
To execute the judgements deceed for them--
such is the glory of all God's faithful.
Hallelujah!
